    • balding, close cropped hair. Thin, with a well-groomed silver mustache.
    • didn’t witness it but came as soon as someone called him. “Reginald was my oldest friend.”
    • “Do you know if Mr. Chilton had any reason to take his own life?”
    • “Absolutely not. By every measure he was a man of success.
    • “Did he have any enemies?”
    • Nods, looks smug. “Name me one politician worth his salt who doesn’t. Mr. Chilton was a man who got his way. I admired him for that. Others did not.”
  • Mr. Briggs, the night watchman
    • middle aged. his uniform is neat and tidy though he doesn’t look particularly quick footed.
    • “I called the police and that wasn’t all. I seen what done it. Foul play’s at work here.” dead serious about it. “And not by the likes of you or me.”
    • What do you mean? Murdoch, skeptical.
    • man whispers, “It was the work of a ghost. The ghost of Queen’s Park!”
    • George: there’s a ghost?!
    • “Not just one; several! Apparitions have been sighted through the halls, lady ghosts, one and all. But this one,” he shakes his head, fearful and disgusted. “This was one was different from the others.”
