Carriage Driver, Daniel Hamilton

on

Daniel Hamilton had been remarkably calm at the scene and remained so at the station. While he and the guard were kept apart, his only concern seems to be explaining himself clearly.

“The protocol lays out the route and destination,” he explained to the Detective, handing over a paper indicating the path they had followed from Duran branch to Spadina branch.

“When did you receive this?” Murdoch asked.

“Just prior to departure,” Hamilton replied. “It’s all part of the security arrangement.”

Murdoch folded the paper up into his jacket. “And who sets the protocol?”

“The bank manager.”
